Psychiatric depth for your physicians, in the visits they already have.
Your patients answer a structured intake before the appointment. Each of your physicians opens a psychiatric Brief before seeing the patient, and every clinical decision stays with them.
Singula brings the protocol and the agreements.
The Care Companion runs today in independent primary care practices under an IRB-approved study protocol, and every practice starts the same way.
There is no integration project to start. Each Brief is added to the patient’s chart before the physician sees the patient, and patient information stays under the business associate agreement and the study protocol.
An IRB-approved protocol, a site participation agreement, and a business associate agreement, all prepared by Singula.
On a phone or a clinic tablet, ahead of the appointment, under the patient’s consent.
It is in the chart before the physician sees the patient, with what stood out, what to ask, and a read on level of care.
What it asks of your practice.
The practice’s part is small, and it fits the schedule the practice already runs.
Send the intake link ahead of the appointment and a reminder if it is not finished, using the message template Singula provides.
Read the Brief before walking in, and make every clinical decision as they do today. A short feedback form after each batch of Briefs is part of the study.
Patient consent is built into the intake. Every Brief goes through clinical quality review before it reaches your physician, and the business associate agreement governs patient information throughout.
There is no EHR integration project to start. The intake runs on the patient’s phone or a clinic tablet, and the Brief is added to the chart before the physician sees the patient.
Behavioral health integration is billable care.
If your practice bills behavioral health integration through CPT 99484 or the Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) behavioral health add-on G0570, it needs a validated assessment, a care plan, and a recurring monthly care-management service. Your practice furnishes and bills that service.
The Brief supports the initiating assessment and its documentation, ready in the chart before the physician sees the patient. The recurring monthly service is the practice’s own, and the Care Companion does not furnish it.
Singula does not provide billing or coding advice. Confirm requirements with your billing specialist and your Medicare administrative contractor.
It fits wherever primary care carries mental health.
Psychiatric context before the physician sees the patient, inside a visit already on the schedule.
If you are accountable for the whole course of care, seeing the psychiatric picture early matters most, and the Brief brings it into the first visit.
When behavioral health arrives as a capacity problem, the Brief supports triage at the first visit.
